Character: Ban Midou
Fandom: GetBackers
Time Period: Post anime. He ends up here in his sleep.
Brief Synopsis: Ban is one half of the GetBackers - a recovery team that vows they can get back anything. With his partner, Ginji Amano, he is on an ever present quest to make lots of money and keep up their one hundred percent recovery record. Of course, he never quite manages to keep any of the money they earn. He is a chain-smoking, prickly, anti-social, arrogant, selfish man who doesn't share his past.
He is one quarter German and the grandchild of the "Last Witch of the 20th Century" from whom he inherited his 'Evil Eye' or the Jagan. This ability can be used to basically make a dream or more often a nightmare appear real for one minute. Ban can also use the "snake-bite" and sometimes is seen to call upon Asclepius. Combined with Ban's quick thinking and great speed, the man can prove quite deadly.
Ban has studied fighting techniques, science, and history since he was a kid. He seems to have moved around from place to place most of his life, even before coming to the Limitless Fortress where he met and fought Ginji. Ban has surprising knowledge and talent as evidenced by his ability to play the violin so well in one of the anime episodes. With Ginji, he lives in his car which is his pride and joy.
Animal Features: Snake Fangs and slitted pupils of the serpent.
